She is also trained in treating clients of Pelvic pain through a Trauma informed Lens.

The Cochrane Collaboration 2010 concluded that Physiotherapists with specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation (using internal examination to teach the exercises) should be the first line of defence, before surgical consultation, for stress, urge and mixed incontinence in women. Pelvic floor physiotherapy can only be performed by a specially trained physiotherapist who has undergone post-secondary education and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She has successfully treated clients with Incontinence, Neurological & Orthopedic conditions & Post operative Rehabilitation. In her free time Pia loves to explore new trails, spending time outdoors and spend time with her friends and family! .

This approach offers a non-surgical alternative to more invasive surgery for relief of pain in the neck, arm, back, and leg due to disc herniation and stenosis. It also offers a gentle and effective approach for less complex conditions of back and neck pain as well. For more information on what and how I treat please see website www.myspinalcareclinic.com
